KOMGO

What is KOMGO?

KOMGO is Korean powdered kombucha in stick format, with 18 probiotic strains. Mix a 5 g stick with cold water and in seconds you have a kombucha flavoured with Korean fruit: yuja (Korean lemon), omija (magnolia berries) or bokbunja (black raspberry). It needs no fridge and fits in any pocket.

How do you make KOMGO?

Open a stick, pour it into a glass, add 250 to 300 ml of cold or iced water and stir well. Leave a little room in the glass because it fizzes. It's ready in a few seconds.

How many calories does it have?

Each 5 g stick has 15 kcal (63 kJ). Per 100 g of product it's 300 kcal, but a stick only weighs 5 g.

Does KOMGO contain sugar?

It has no added sugar. Each stick contains less than 1 g of sugars, which come from the fruit ingredients themselves. The sweetness comes from erythritol and sucralose.

Does it contain alcohol or caffeine?

No. KOMGO is alcohol-free and caffeine-free, so you can drink it at any time of day.

Does it need to be refrigerated?

No. As a powder it needs no refrigeration: just keep it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. That's why you can carry it in your bag, backpack or suitcase.

What flavours are there?

Three Korean fruit flavours: Yuja (Korean lemon, citrusy and sweet-and-sour), Omija (magnolia berries, a complex flavour with five notes) and Bokbunja (black raspberry, sweet with forest-fruit notes).

What do yuja, omija and bokbunja mean?

They are the Korean names of the three fruits. Yuja (유자) is yuzu, an Asian citrus fruit. Omija (오미자) is the Schisandra berry, whose name means “five flavours”. Bokbunja (복분자) is the Korean black raspberry.

How many sticks are in each box?

Each box has 6 sticks of 5 g (30 g in total). The 3-Flavour Pack has 18 sticks: six of each flavour.

How much does KOMGO cost?

Each box of 6 sticks costs €15.95 (about €2.66 per drink). The 3-Flavour Pack, with 18 sticks, costs €38.28 instead of €47.85: 20% off.

Why might a sachet look slightly puffed?

That's normal. Kombucha powder contains a live culture and fermentation can slightly puff up some sachets. It is safe to drink.

What are the ingredients?

The base is kombucha powder, black tea extract, the Korean fruit extract of each flavour, apple juice powder, vitamins and minerals and kombucha culture (a mix of bacteria and yeasts), sweetened with erythritol and sucralose. The full list is on each flavour's page.

Do you ship?

Yes, across Spain. Mainland: €4.95, free from €35 (the 3-Flavour Pack already qualifies). Balearic Islands: €7.95, free from €50. Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla: €12.95, free from €60 and VAT-free. The exact cost is calculated from your postcode before you pay. For now we only ship within Spain.

How many probiotics does KOMGO have?

Each KOMGO stick is enriched with 18 carefully selected probiotic strains, including Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Bifidobacterium longum and Lactobacillus rhamnosus. The full list of all 18 is in our powdered kombucha guide.

How can I pay?

Payment is made on Stripe's secure checkout by card and, depending on your device, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see your card details.

How long does KOMGO keep?

Thanks to its powder format, KOMGO keeps for up to 3 years with no fridge. Store it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Can I drink it in other ways?

Yes. As well as with cold water, you can make it with sparkling water or use it as the base for a mocktail. It's ideal after a workout, at work, at the beach or when travelling.
